2024 Oregon’s Tribal Opioid and Fentanyl Summit: Evaluation Report
The Raven Collective is proud to share the Evaluation Report from the 2024 Oregon Tribal Opioid and Fentanyl Summit, held October 8-9, 2024, at the Seven Feathers Casino Resort. This impactful event brought together over 200 participants, including tribal leaders, healthcare professionals, community advocates, and individuals with lived experience, to address the opioid epidemic in Tribal communities through culturally grounded and innovative approaches.

Key Findings from the Evaluation Report
Broad Representation: Participants hailed from all nine Tribes of Oregon, with a majority identifying as American Indian or Alaska Native.
High Satisfaction: Over 96% of attendees reported being satisfied or very satisfied with the Summit’s content, networking opportunities, and presentations.
Cultural Relevance: The event emphasized Indigenous Ways of Knowing and community resilience, integrating cultural practices into discussions and sessions.
Actionable Takeaways: Topics included harm reduction, storytelling with data, and the role of cultural wisdom in prevention, recovery, and wellness.
